This Privacy Policy explains how Eternity Cat, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information on charfeed.com(the "Site").

We take your privacy seriously. This policy is designed to be transparent, easy to read, and compliant with applicable data protection laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

1. What we collect

During our pre-launch phase, we collect only limited information:

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, payment information, health data, or biometric data during this pre-launch phase.

Notify you when Charfeed launches and about major project milestones;

Operate, secure, and improve the Site;
Understand how visitors use the Site (in aggregate, non-identifying form);
Comply with legal obligations.

We will never sell your email address or personal information to third parties.

3. Who we share data with

We share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data for the purposes we specify:

Hosting & infrastructure: Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (CDN and DNS)
Email delivery: Resend or equivalent transactional email service
Analytics: Privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Plausible or self-hosted PostHog) that do not track individuals across sites

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

4. International data transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, your information will be transferred to the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards to protect your data during international transfers.

5. How long we keep your data

waitlist email: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unused waitlist entries will be deleted 24 months after the platform launches if not converted to active accounts.
Analytics data: Retained in aggregated, non-identifying form for up to 26 months.
Server logs: Up to 90 days, unless needed for security investigations.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@charfeed.com and we will delete it promptly.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take security seriously and continuously work to improve it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site, and where we have your email address, by email notification. The "effective date" at the top indicates when the policy was last updated.

When the full Charfeed platform launches, we will publish a more comprehensive Privacy Policy that will govern data processing for the launched service.
